Quilting tips for newbies

April 11, 2007 at 10:28 am | Posted in Sewing/Crafts | 2 Comments

Hi, everyone! I’m down in Louisiana babysitting my cutie 2-month-old niece, but I thought I’d post these sites to help some of the swappers who might need some tips on quilting.

This one has great illustrations! If you’re a ntotal newbie, you might want to start here

Marcia has great tips and patterns. There’s a “where do you want to go today?” drop-down menu with Lesson 1, Lesson 2, etc.

More helpful tips!!

Hope these help!

  1. wow thx for the links! I’ve been tinkering with the idea of quilting but I didn’t know where to start.

  2. Lisa,
Thanks again for organizing. I have so many ideas, and I’m finally making some progress. Are you going to post some progress pictures on your blog too? Should we all send a photo to you once they are finished so you have photos of all of the doll quilts? This is so fun, thanks again!
